We have a small CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) that provides our members with fresh, clean, local produce.  We strive to include a wide variety of beautiful produce, that also includes fruit at every opportunity.  Please read this post for more details on exactly how we grow our chemical free produce here at Bells Best. We offer multiple box sizes, multiple pick up locations, and you can even subscribe to weekly or every other week pickup.

Want eggs?  Our flock of pasture raised hens lay the freshest, tastiest, most beautiful eggs you can imagine.  You can add eggs to your CSA membership.  Check out the link below for all the pricing and options.

Want to join our CSA? CLICK HERE for more details and to sign up. Once you start going through the online sign up process, you will see the pickup times and locations to choose from.  We have a Spring/Summer CSA that runs April through end of summer. We also have a Winter CSA available for you “hard core” veggie lovers, that runs from October to December. All details can be found through the link above, or you can do a Search on this blog, for posts that detail the Spring CSA or the Winter CSA for each year.

Hey John! Our current Winter CSA is closed, but in the Spring we will open up the CSA again to new members. Our pickup locations have been in Matthews and Monroe and Atherton Market, but that may change depending on need when we assess the Spring CSA. Hope that helps.

I too would like to know your pick up locations before I sign up. I live in North Charlotte, but I also close to Huntersville. Will you have a pickup location in this area for the Spring?

    • Bell says:

Hi Penny. We don’t currently have any pick up locations in North Charlotte nor Huntersville. The best bet would probably be Saturday at Atherton Market on South Boulevard. This is in the Dilworth area. Hope that will work for you.

  4. Jennifer says:

Hi there! Are you going to open registration for spring 2014 or is it already full and closed? Really hope not! Thank you.

    • Bell says:

Hi Jennifer! We are already full for Spring/Summer 2014, but we just posted options for getting on the waiting list. As of this writing, you would only be number 5 on the waiting list, so we suggest you email us (address on the CONTACT page) and we can officially put you on the list at that time. Thank you! And you can always come see us at Atherton Market on Saturdays! Thanks for your interest in supporting local farms!!!

I am interested in the spring CSA. I would be a Matthews pick up.
Can you let me know the day and time of pick up. And if you still have shares a aBle?
    Thank you, Denise Yurko

    • Bell says:

Hi Denise! Yes, we have just opened a few more spots in our CSA, but they are only open until June 1! If you click on any of the links to our CSA website (links are in several posts on the blog, or go to the “Our CSA” Page), those links will take you to the CSA website where you can sign up for the Spring 2014 CSA. Not all of the details are on the first page of the CSA sign up website, but as you go through the sign up form your questions should be answered. You can email us (see contact page for info) with any questions. Thank you!
